Background

Alice is the protagonist of Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, who follows a white rabbit and falls through a rabbit hole into a magical world.

In The Land of Stories series, Alice first appears in The Enchantress Returns, in Alex's dream along with other literary characters (Lucy Pensieve,Wendy Darling and Dorothy Gale). Alice reappears with her sister in Beyond the Kingdoms when the twins visit Wonderland.

Appearance and Personality

She is described as a very pretty child with a bow in her hair and a lacy apron over her dress. Her sister looks like an older version of her. She has a small cat called Dinah.[1]

Alice has seen the flying Pirate ship the Jolly Roger, but her sister won't believe her. As they argue, Alex and Conner follow the White Rabbit instead and find the entrance to Wonderland. When they enter through the rabbit hole, Mother Goose uses her magic to speed things up and propel them through the tunnel, blocking the entry to the rabbit hole with book cases and debris; even if Alice were to get curious, she would be unable to follow.
