In The Land of Stories series, Captain Hook, his right-hand[2] man Mr. Smee and his army of Neverland Pirates are recruited by the Masked Man, in exchange for enabling Captain Hook to kill Peter.

Appearance and Personality

He is tall, with long curly hair, and wears a large black hat and a heavy coat with massive shoulders. His right hand has been replaced with a sharp metal hook.[3] He is vicious, and easily angered.

He has a ship called the Jolly Roger.

In Beyond the Kingdoms, Captain Hook agrees to help the Masked Man and travels into Alice in Wonderland (and later into the Land of Stories) with him, his ship and his pirates.

In An Author's Odyssey, he and the other literary villains grow impatient with the Masked Man, and when he fails to keep his promise, they try to kill him. Together with the Queen of Hearts and the Wicked Witch of the West, Captain Hook takes over reign of the Land of Stories.

"You promised me Peter Pan!"

"And you can't give me Peter Pan if you don't have Peter Pan!''

"I rather like this world,There are no Lost Boys, mermaids or Indians to fight. And if Peter Pan is here, there is no reason to return to Neverland."
