All the Wishing Spell items including Rapunzel's hair

When Alex and Conner try to gather the magical items they need to make the Wishing Spell work, one "ingredient" is a lock of Rapunzel's hair.

This is the first item they find, as their first stop on their journey is the Corner Kingdom and Rapunzel's Tower. They find a lock of her hair between the floorboards.[2]
Apart from being an ingredient for the spell, it isn't stated whether the lock of hair has any other magical capabilities.
