Main Plot[]

Several months before the timeline of The Wishing Spell, King Chance has plans for the Dwarf Forests. He wants to kill all of the criminals and seize the forests for the Charming Kingdom. Puss in Boots catches wind of Chance's plot and tells Goldilocks all about it. At first, she doesn't believe it, but then they sneak into a Happily Ever After Assembly meeting where King Chance gets permission to clear the forest. Queen Red Riding Hood objects and says it's a bad idea but no one listens to her. Finally convinced, Goldilocks calls an emergency meeting for all the residents of the Dwarf Forests. They try to raise a resistance, but only three people show up to their training session the next day. Little Miss Muffet, Pinocchio, and The Gingerbread Man. They form a mini resistance and formulate a plan. They break into the Charming Kingdom armory, intending to blow it up with gunpowder, but the armory is empty. The army is planning on attacking the forest in two days. They go back to the forest and try to make a new plan. They decide to evacuate as many residents as possible. Goldilocks goes to warn Hagetta, but Hagetta has already decided to stay in the Dwarf Forests, even if she gets killed. During the evacuation the next day, no one can find Goldilocks. Jack shows up looking for her (having inspired by Queen Red Riding Hood to help Goldilocks) and it turns out she went to face the army by herself. She defeats more than four dozen soldiers before she is captured. Jack and Porridge come to her rescue along with Miss Muffet, The Gingerbread Man, Pinocchio, Puss in Boots, and all of the Dwarf Forests residents. They drive off the army, and the queens confront their husbands.
