Mira 300px

Mira is an original character from the Land of Stories series. He only appears briefly at the end of The Wishing Spell (ch 21); the rest of his story is told via the Evly and the letters Alex and Conner find in Snow White's Castle. He is trapped inside a Magic Mirror by the Enchantress to use as leverage over his fiancée Evly.

Appearance and Personality

Mira is a poet. His original looks aren't described in the books beyond that he was "very handsome"[1] once; when he is eventually freed from the Magic Mirror, he has become a plain, featureless shadow of a man.[2] He dies shortly after being freed, though he does recognise Evly before he passes.

For more details of his part in Evly's story, see the Evil Queen.

"I love you more than a bird loves the morning sun. Every second I'm away from you is a moment wasted. I am yours forever."[3]

"I will save you from this wickedness, I swear it."[4]

"Evly," he said, and a slight smile appeared on his face recognizing the name. The smile lasted only a moment. His eyes fluttered shut, and he stopping breathing.[5]
