The Third Little Pig is a character from the fairy tale The Three Little Pigs, in which three pigs build three houses out of different materials (Straw, wood and stone resp.), and only the third house is solid enough to defend the pig against the Big Bad Wolf.

In The Land of Stories series, he is mentioned as a citizen of Red Riding Hood Kingdom (the territory once plagued by the Big Bad Wolf) and he first appears in The Enchantress Returns, chapter 14.

Appearance and Personality

He is described by Red Riding Hood as a "total recluse" who "rarely come sout of that brick house". [1] She says he was offered the chance of being elected King after the C.R.A.W.L. Revolution, but refused.

He responds to Red's call for builders and carpenters when they want to build the airship. He is described as one of the best builders of the kingdom. He owes Red a favour for being pardoned after he accidentally built his house on Bo Peep property.[2]

In A Grimm Warning, he is part of the Kingdom's representatives in the House of Progress, and the one who tells Froggy he is elected as king.

In Beyond the Kingdoms, he tags along with Red, who is part of the search party for the Masked Man, and diligently takes notes about the wedding for her while the others are fighting the witches in the Witches' Brew.[3] He is also the one who officiates the marriage between Red and Froggy.[4]

In Queen Red Riding Hood's Guide to Royalty, Red says the Third Little Pig was part of her staff long before the House of Progress was formed. She calls him her "rock (or brick, rather)" and says he has meticulous organizational skills and shuttle advice as her Chief of Staff.[5]
