Uncle Henry is a fictional character from the Oz Books by L. Frank Baum[1]. He appears briefly in Beyond the Kingdoms, chapter 12. Dorothy, the main character of the Oz books, lives with him and his wife Auntie Em in Kansas before she is swept up by a cyclone that takes her the Land of Oz.

Appearance and Personality

He is described as an old man with a white beard. He and his wife allow Dorothy to invite Conner, Alex, Jack, Goldilocks, Mother Goose, Red, and Lester into their home. When the cyclone hits, he hurries outside to free the animals. He sees the house get swept up by the cyclone and runs into the twister to save Dorothy- Alex assures her friends that he'll be okay because 'she has read the book'.[2]
